What a fantastic (if somewhat rainy) day!
The children were all very well behaved and had a brilliant day learning about Victorian life; in particular what it was like for school children in the year 1897 and those working in and around a North-East coal mine and pit village.
We also had a visit to the early 1900s town where we met the local dentist – I think the children may have a new-found love for the luxury that is a modern toothbrush. 😉
Well done children. Thank you for a fabulous day!
Miss Sanderson 🙂
