I hope that you and your families are all safe and well.
Following the latest Government announcement, we will reopen to all pupils in September. We are very much looking forward to seeing everyone back together again, although there will obviously be some differences to school, in light of the continuing concerns around COVID 19.
Children in Years 1-6 will return on Monday 7th September. Children new to our Nursery and Reception year groups will receive a letter in the next few days detailing how we plan to hold transition days and the appropriate start days for your child.
Attached below this post is a list of the teachers, outlining who your child’s class will be with next year. You will notice that some of the classes have the same teacher, we feel this is necessary for continuity and transition in these cases. All of the teachers will prepare some transition work to support your child during the first few weeks back at school in September.
It will also be necessary to have a staggered start and finish to the day, as well as playtime and lunchtime. Details of this will be posted on the website before the end of the summer term, so please check for details regularly and during the summer break.
If your child is currently attending school, they will bring this year’s report home on Monday 13th July. If your child is not attending school, we will be organising time slots during the week beginning 13th July, when you can collect your child’s report from school. This will give you and your child an opportunity to see their class teacher, before moving on in September. A timetable for collecting the reports will be posted on the website next week.
Miss Sanderson will be leaving us at the end of the summer to move to West Yorkshire, we wish her all the very best.
Take care and look after each other,
